Collection: Delphine Lebourgeois

My work is mostly about being a woman today. I am interested in psychology, popular culture, fairy tales and storytelling.

My female characters, often rebellious and portrayed marching as one, are together guardians of our individual freedoms and an echo to the liberation of women’s speech.

I enjoy playing with various stylistic sources (ranging from Renaissance paintings to comics) and drawing is always at the core of my practice.

I have collaborated with The New Yorker, The Guardian, Le Monde, Amnesty International and Soho House. In 2019, some of my images were featured as street art in the video game Need For Speed Heat.
